This short film about the Baul singers of West Bengal was recorded in the cremation ground at Tarapith. In a single short song we observe the relationship between a singer and his partner, who is in a state of possession. The film is intended to evoke a consideration of the Mother, both as goddess and as lived reality, without recourse to interview or voiced over explanation.
